GWSN: Pinky Star (Run) and Dreamnote: Hakuna Matata (Review)

GWSN’s Pinky Star (Run) came out yesterday, on the 13th. GWSN is a seven-member group under Kiwi Pop entertainment. Pinky Star (Run) is their second release after Puzzle Moon, their debut song. Both songs have a very particular style that’s hard to describe. It’s a new take on a sort of fantasy concept. Both releases and their respective mini albums (The Park in the Night and The Park in the Night Part 2) are wonderful.

Dreamnote is an 8 member group under iMe KOREA. Both of their songs-Dream Note (their debut) and the new Hakuna Matata-have an energetic, addictive chorus, which is something I really like in a pop song. They aren’t particularly revolutionary in any way, but their music is good, and they have some really nice b-sides on their first mini album (My personal favorite being Fresh! Fresh!.) I’m excited to see what Dreamnote come out with in the future!
